"Kiss for Kiss": Quilt Art by Rebekka Seigel

In exploring alternative uses of the word “kiss” for an invitational exhibit with that theme, I settled on the images of the Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss and the rock group of the 80’s named “Kiss”. The group’s bizarre make-up made them a memorable group and great subject matter for a quilt portrait. The candy kiss is one of the favored candies in our household. This quilt demonstrates my play with the traditional meaning of the word “kiss.”
